Bergen County Sheriff’s Office is proud to offer to families, “The EZ CHILD ID” It is a comprehensive digital fingerprinting child identification system. This device allows us to obtain vital information necessary in assisting law enforcement agencies in finding the missing or abducted child.
- EZ CHILD ID creates a child id report with id cards. We ensure we capture all information required by the Amber Alert system.
- EZ CHILD ID scans all 10 fingerprints in a matter of seconds. (saved in the universal PDF format)
- Takes up to 4 photos (including ID photo) with different profiles.
- Able to record a digital video with voice(which is saved in digital avi format).
- The parent not only receives printed id card and data sheet, but also may receive a USB thumb drive with all the information on it.
- To help protect from identity theft , the software was written so that no information from the child is saved on the computer. Once the child is processed, the data is permanently erased and only the parent retains the information.
